Homeowners Asset Group, LLC (HAG) is also well-known for its pioneering of major residential areas throughout North Georgia dating as far back as the late 1980s. Some of HAG’s early residential developments in midtown are considered priceless.
River Oaks, one of Georgia's premier neighborhoods, was started in the mid 1990s and has continued to grow in both size and popularity. Neighborhood communities in River Oaks include The Garden of River Oaks, The Cloisters, and Chartwell.
Over the past two decades, HAG’s residential community planning and development has dominated the region in a variety of price ranges. Radford Plantation, Southmore Braystone Park, The Neighborhood at Schillingham Farms, River Ridge (The Gardens, The Bluffs, The Grove), Red Heron, Blue Shadows, LeFleur, and Chapel Creek are some of HAG’s well-established residential communities. More recent residential neighborhoods include Spring Creek Park, Wycliffe, The Pinnacle of Hermantown, and Twin Lakes.
In 2001 HAG’s opened a North Georgia office to provide a wide range of real estate services, including development, acquisition, sales and leasing of both commercial and residential properties. The goal of the HAG Athens office is to become one of the foremost real estate development and acquisition firms in Georgia by partnering with local land owners, investors and growing businesses to create lasting value in real estate.
HAG plans to expand the company’s asset base in Northern Georgia through development, acquisitions, and joint ventures. The investment goal is to build an outstanding portfolio of income properties in the Northern Georgia area including strategically located office, retail and mixed use projects. The HAG Athens office is keenly focused on income properties and development land where HAG’s unique capabilities and resources will create long-term value.
Since 1993, Homeowners Asset Group has been paving the way for major development projects including The East Atlanta business park known as Bridgeway Center, which consists of more than one million square feet of Class 'A' office space.
In 2007, HAG broke ground on the first of two identical "Class A" office buildings on the last available site at Poplar and South Ursula at Bridgeway Center. The first of the two 150,000-square-foot buildings will be anchored by SunTrust Bank.
In 2000, HAG completed its new building in Bridgeway Center, the Morgan Keenan Building, a 150,000-square-foot, "Class A" office building. Approximately 23,200 square feet of space is available for lease.
HAG recently developed a five-story 187,000-square-foot build-to-suit office building for Smith Memorial Healthcare Corporation on an 8.43-acre site. The company's 500 employees moved into the building this past spring.
Also at McDowell’s Center HAG developed a 50,000-square-foot, "Class A" medical building. The two-story building is home to the North Clinic, a group of 11 physicians and 100 employees specializing in medical and gynecological oncology, hematology, and radiology.
Construction is complete on a new 50,000-square-foot medical office building anchored by the Sumner Pike Clinic, which occupies 40,000 square feet of space. An additional 10,000 square feet of the building is available.
The company has developed build-to-suit and speculative office buildings for a variety of Fortune 500 tenants including International Business Machines Corporation, General Motors, and the United States Postal Service.
HAG developed a 155,000-square-foot build-to-suit office building in Bridgeway Center for Radison USA, as well as the world headquarters for Thomas & Bettis at Northwind. The initial building is 230,000 square feet of a projected 650,000-square-foot campus.
HAG also developed a four story, 105,000-square-foot building for Selena Chemical at Schillingham Farms on a 6.27-acre site. Selena occupies approximately 80,000 square feet of space.
HAG has been a leader in the planning and development of premier retail developments for many years. Recent examples of this expertise are Hallina Centro, Briarcrest Market, Southwest Crossing, Preston Dennison Place, Shops of Greenwich Hill, Regalia and McDowell’s Center.
Hallina Centro is a 400,000 square foot grocery anchored power center located at the common boundary of Atlanta's two most important suburbs, Kennesaw and Marietta anchored by Kroger, Stein Mart, Kohl's and Pier I. HAG entered the fast-growing Cobb County, Georgia, market with the development of Northcrest Market, an 80,000-square-foot retail center at the busiest intersection in Alpharetta at at Georgia 400.
Southwest Crossing, a 500,000 square foot power center is located in southwest Roswell. The center is anchored by Lowes, Kohl's and, Best Buy.
Preston Dennison Place, a 370,000 square foot power center is located in Gainesville. The center contains a wide range of national tenants including Baby Superstore, Stein Mart, Borders Books, Marshall's, Old Navy, Pier I Imports and Office Depot.
The Shops of Greenwich Hill, in Marietta, north of Atlanta, consists of 360,000 square feet on a 40-acre site in the heart of the county's fastest growing urban area. The Shops of Greenwich Hill contains many prominent national and local value-oriented tenants including Target, Schnuck's Supermarket and Marshall's.
Regalia at Bridgeway Center in Dunwoody is a 92,000 square foot specialty center anchored by Oak Hall Fashion Store, Vineyard Vines, Owen Brennan's and Ruth's Chris Steak House and is part of a 22-acre, mixed-use development which also includes the Embassy Suites Hotel and Regions Bank Headquarters.
